(1)    Demand No. 17 - AGRICULTURE :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 36,30,71,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 17 - Agriculture.” 

                    (A)      MOTION FOR TOKEN CUT :

                                Dr. Nimaichand Luwang and
                        Shri M. Bhorot Singh, MLAs to move :- 

                                             “That the amount of the demand be reduced by Rs.100”. 

                                            On Account of :

                                            (i)    Failure for formulating fertilizer  distribution policy.

                                            (ii)    Failure  to  develop  State  Mechanised  Firm  in
                                               Lamphalpat and others. 

(2)    Demand No. 20 - COMMUNITY  DEVELOPMENT  &  AnP, IrDP AND NREP :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

 “that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 42,14,25,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 20 - Community Development and ANP, IRDP & NREP.” 

(3)    Demand  No. 25 - youth   affairs   AND   sports DEPARTMENT :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a   sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 15,55,73,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 25 - Youth Affairs and Sports Department.” 

                    (A)      MOTION   FOR  DISAPPROVAL  OF  POLICY CUT :

                                Shri I. Hemochandra Singh, MLA to move :- 

                                       “ That the amount of the demand be reduced to Re. 1”. 

                                            On Account of :

                                            (i)        Failure to give employment to meritorious sports
                                                 persons inspite of   promises made on this regard.

                                           (ii)       Failure to maintain sports facilities, equipments  
                                                and stadiums. 

(4)    Demand No. 36 - MINOR  IRRIGATION :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 30,85,69,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 36 - Minor Irrigation.” 

(5)    Demand No. 38 - PANCHAYAT :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 8,80,41,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 38 - Panchayat.” 

(6)    Demand No. 41 - ART  AND  CULTURE :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 15,48,42,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 41 - Art and Culture.” 

(7)    Demand No. 47 - WELFARE  OF  MINORITIES  AND OTHER  BACKWARD  CLASSES :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs.9,79,41,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 47 - Welfare of Minorities and Other Backward Classes.”

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 21,48,68,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 3 -  Secretariat.”
