PRESENTATION OF REPORTS OF THE COMMITTEES :

2.    Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister and Chairman of the Enquiry Committee of the
House to investigate the Illegal Allotment of Shops/Stalls at Linthoingambi  Bazar (New
Market) and some Other Areas (2003) to present the report of the Committee.

 ADJOURNMENT MOTION :

3.    Motion for adjournment on matters of urgent public importance, if any.

 CALLING ATTENTION :

4.    (a)     Shri  O. Joy Singh,  MLA  to  call  the attention  of  the Health                              Minister on the purchase of materials from R.S. Company, Delhi by the Medical
Directorate of Manipur.

        (b)      Shri M. Nilchandra Singh, MLA to call the attention of the Works Minister on

        non-completion of culvert works at Sekmaijin to Khordak Road.

 

 SHORT DURATION DISCUSSION :

5.    Shri M. Nilchandra Singh, MLA to raise a discussion on the new development of Indo-
Myanmar trade relationship.

 CONSIDERATION  AND  PASSING  OF  GOVERNMENT BILLS :

6.    (a)     Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move :-

                                "that the Manipur Ceiling on Government Guarantee                                
                          Bill, 2004 be taken into consideration.”

                                                         And also to move that the Bill be passed.

                       (b)     Shri O. Ibobi  Singh, Chief Minister to move :-

                                “that the Manipur Value Added Tax Bill, 2004 be taken
                          into consideration.”

                                                         And also to move that the Bill be passed.

PRIVATE  MEMBER’S  RESOLUTION :

7.    (i)        Shri L. Ibomcha Singh,
           
            Dr. Nimaichand Luwang,

                    Shri O. Joy Singh and

                    Shri I. Hemochandra Singh, MLAs to move the following resolution :-

                               

                                “this  House  unanimously  resolves  to  urge  the Government of India
                           to repeal AFSPA immediately by promulgating an ordinance.

                                            Further  resolves  that,  while  the  repealing of  AFSPA  by  the
                          Government  of  India  is in process, the  House  decides  to remove the
                          disturbed area status  from the  whole  of  the  State  without  any
                          precondition and  the  State  Government  shall implement  the
                          Resolution  of  the  House  on  or before 1st January, 2005.”

 

        (ii)    Shri S. Ibohal Singh, MLA to move the following resolution:-

(iii)   Shri M. Nilchandra Singh and

                 Shri  S. Natum Singh, MLAs to move the following resolution:-

(iv)    Shri B.D. Behring, to move the following resolution:-

                               “this  House  unanimously  agrees  to  urge  the State Government  to
                          make necessary provision for making it  compulsory  to undergo
                          HIV/AIDS test by both the partners  before  their  marriage.”

 

HALF-AN-HOUR DISCUSSION :

8.    (i)        Shri  Y. Erabot  ,  MLA  to  raise  a  discussion  on  the  amalgamation  of
 New Lambulane  Jr. High School  with  R.D.S.  School  arising  out  of  the  Starred
 Question No. 610 dated 17-12-2004.

        (ii)    Shri  M. Nilchandra  Singh,  MLA  to  raise  a  discussion  on  the  unemployment
 issue  of  the  State  arising  out  of  Starred Question No.624 dated 20.12.04.
